Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has revealed that Alvaro Morata will be a "big loss" for Premier League Champions when they travel to Goodison Park to take on Everton on Saturday.
The 25-year-old striker picked up a one-match ban after his fifth yellow card of the season during Wednesday night's dramatic 2-1 win over Bournemouth while celebrating his late winner in the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup. Eddie Howe's men equalize in the 90th minutes before the Spain international scored the winner 14 seconds later and he could not contain his joy and was booked by referee Lee Mason.
Conte will now be without his hitman, who has scored 11 goals in 23 appearances in all competitions this season.
"He is a big loss for us, especially because we have to play a tough game against Everton," the Daily Mail quotes the manager as saying. "It is a pity, but we have to accept it."
Chelsea will take on Arsenal in the Caraboa Cup semi-finals.
